Hit 500 lifts on my Grove RT530E last Tuesday and it got me thinking
I'd been running that machine for 6 months and never counted before. Turns out 500 lifts is a lot more than I expected for a single crane in that time. Most were under 10 tons but a few hit 25. Anyone keep a log of their total lifts for the year?

500 lifts in 6 months sounds like you barely took a lunch break.

Honestly it's kinda like how people flex their gym streaks but half those visits are just scrolling on their phone between sets. @lucast81 got a point though, 500 lifts in half a year makes me wonder if this guy even had time to eat a sandwich or use the bathroom.

Did you count if any of those 500 lifts were repeat picks on the same load, like repositioning a beam or pipe a few feet over? I mean, that could throw off the number if you're tracking actual unique jobs versus just boom movements. Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like nobody talks about how many lifts are just tiny adjustments that don't really count as a "job." That could change how impressive the 500 number really is if half of them were just nudges.
