Just got my tower crane ticket after failing the first try
Last week in Portland, I finally passed my practical test on the Liebherr 150 EC-B. I messed up the load swing on the first go three months ago, but this time I kept it under 6 inches the whole time. Anyone got tips for the first real job on a tower crane that high up?

Nice, congrats on the retest. For the height, just take your time up there. It's a different feel but you get used to it.

Oh man, the height thing is no joke. I remember my first time up on a tall structure, I had to just sit down for a few minutes and let my brain catch up. Focus on something solid in the distance, not the ground below. And don't fight the shaky legs, they'll calm down after about 10 minutes once your body figures out you're not actually going anywhere.

The wind really is no joke up there.
