A 2am eviction scare made me stop trusting my credit score alone

I was sitting in my car outside my apartment in Columbus at 2am after a double shift when the landlord's notice slid under my door, and that's when I realized my 640 score had hidden two old collections from a previous address, so now I pull my full credit report every 3 months instead of just glancing at the number, has anyone else gotten blindsided by something that wasn't on the score summary?

Man that is brutal, getting hit with that after a double shift is some nightmare fuel. I stopped trusting the number too after finding out mine was way off from what my actual report said, now I just go through every line myself every few months. Good on you for catching it though, sucks it took that scare to find out.
