My lender in Charlotte said a rapid rescore was impossible, but I pushed for one after paying off a $2,300 card and my score jumped 40 points in 10 days.

Has anyone else had a lender initially refuse a rapid rescore, and what did you say to get them to do it?

My old manager used to pull that all the time. It's the worst excuse.

Notice how this happens everywhere, not just at work. People will make up any reason to avoid doing something that takes effort. It's just lazy behavior dressed up as policy.
