Pro tip: asking my landlord in writing got a late fee wiped off my rent last month
Last month I paid rent 2 days late because my paycheck landed on a Friday, and the $75 fee showed up on the portal right away. I sent the property office a short message asking them to take it off since I'd paid on time for 14 months straight, and they removed it in a day. Does a simple written ask like that usually work for you, or do you have to call and bug them?
