Saw a landlord in Dayton hand a tenant a folder instead of an eviction notice
I was at a property on Third Street checking out a rental for my cousin and the landlord came by while we were there. He sat down with the current tenant who was behind on rent and pulled out a folder of paperwork to sign up for a city program that reports on time payments to the credit bureaus. I always figured small landlords only cared about getting the check or kicking you out, but he said this gets him paid and gets her a real payment history going. Has anyone here been through one of these rent reporting setups, did it really move your score or was it mostly hype?
