That $75 polygraph course didn't prepare me for cult interrogations
The test prep teaches you about baseline charts, but nothing about the way a group leader in Portland stalled 40 minutes before answering one question, so has anyone else had to rework their whole questioning script for high-control groups?

Honestly, are we calling a 40 minute pause a "cult interrogation" now? Sounds like the guy just didn't like your energy or had somewhere to be. I've had clients take forever to answer a simple yes or no, usually because they're tired or playing on their phone. Maybe you're overthinking the whole high control thing.

Skip the script and just mirror their silence. That usually breaks them faster than any question.
