Can we talk about how I used to roll my eyes at password managers

Honestly, I thought they were just extra hassle until my cousin in Denver got his bank account drained after a breach. Now I use one and it's saved me from reusing the same weak password everywhere, anyone else have a similar wake-up call?

Had the same exact thought process until my old email got popped in a data leak. Spent a whole weekend changing passwords for everything, it was a nightmare. Downloaded a manager the next day just to avoid that feeling ever again. The auto-fill is actually a time saver, not a hassle. Took a breach to see it, but now I can't imagine going back.

Totally feel you, @sarahpark. Getting burned by a leak is the worst wake-up call. My own lazy password habits got me in trouble a few years back. Now a manager feels less like extra software and more like a basic need.

Yeah, after my bank got flagged for weird logins I finally caved and got one. The trick is to make your master password something you'll actually remember, like a line from a song you love plus a number. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but writing it down on actual paper and keeping it somewhere safe at home helped me stop panicking about forgetting it.
