Set up 2FA on my email 6 months ago, picked the app over texts, and it saved me twice already
A guy I know in Denver got his email jacked through a SIM swap, so I went with an authenticator app instead of text codes. Two random login alerts popped up in March and both logins died right there. Anyone here made the switch and had it bite you some other way?
