Unpopular opinion: I think people overhype password managers

Honestly, I got locked out of my main account for two days because my manager's browser extension broke and I couldn't get my master password to sync. It took me three tries and a call to their support just to get back in. Has anyone else had a simple login turn into a huge mess?

Oh man, that brings me back. I had a whole rainbow of sticky notes stuck to my monitor frame. The blue one was for my old AOL account, the pink one for my first email password. It was just "smiley" with a bunch of ones after it. Felt totally safe at the time.

Wait, you actually wrote the password on the sticky note itself? That's wild. I just drew little pictures or wrote hints that only I could get. Putting the real thing right there feels like asking to get hacked.
