Vent: I was reusing the same password for years and didn't see the problem

A friend mentioned they got a data breach alert from a site I also used, and my stomach dropped. I checked Have I Been Pwned and found that old password was in five different leaks. Anyone have a good password manager they actually like?

Read an article saying most people still reuse passwords even after a breach. Bitwarden seems solid, my cousin uses it too.

Yeah, that same thing happened to me last year... I got so overwhelmed trying to remember new ones. I switched to Bitwarden and it's been a lifesaver. It's free for the basic stuff, and now I just have to remember one strong master password.

My old system was a notebook with maybe 50 passwords scribbled out. Bitwarden found over a hundred logins I had forgotten about when I imported my browser data. That one master password is so much easier to manage.
