Just realized taking pics with my phone flash was ruining every dead mall shot, a $20 clip-on light fixed it
The flash on my phone blew out the old tile floors and killed the dim hallway mood at the Northgate mall in Canton, so I got a little clip light I can point at the ceiling instead and the shots look way more like what I see in person. Has anyone else found a cheap lighting trick for those dark corridors?
Oh man yes, bouncing the light off the ceiling is such a game changer. I did the same thing with a cheap little light on my old point and shoot and the dead mall pics finally stopped looking like a crime scene. Dim hallways need that soft glow, not a wall of white blown out tile lol.
