That 2 million view 'abandoned mall' video in Ohio was filmed at a mall that's still open
I stopped by the Rolling Acres Mall in Akron on a Tuesday afternoon because I saw a YouTube video with over 2 million views calling it totally abandoned, and I wanted to check it out myself. Turns out the place still has a barber shop and a check cashing place running inside, plus a guy at the entrance told me he's been leasing his spot for $8 a month since 2019. Has anyone else shown up to a "dead mall" from a viral video and found out it's not actually dead?
