Burned $80 on that 'magic' stain remover spray from the TikTok ad

I saw this video of a dude spraying a greasy shirt and it just vanished, so I bit the bullet. Got it in the mail after two weeks and tried it on an old coffee stain on my couch. Nothing happened, not even a little fade lol. The bottle is basically just watered down dish soap with a fancy label on it. I tested it side by side with my $3 Dawn and water mix and that worked way better. Anyone else fall for these wonder sprays that do absolutely nothing?

Did you try shaking the bottle first? I fell for the same thing, felt like a total idiot watching the suds disappear on a nacho stain that wasn't even that bad.

Oh man, I gotta push back a little on that, @the_miles. I mean, I get where you're coming from and shaking the bottle definitely helps sometimes. But honestly, I've had it totally not work even after I shook the heck out of it. Maybe it's just me but some stains are just stubborn no matter what you do. I've watched that foam fizzle out on a greasy spot way too many times to feel bad about it. You shouldn't beat yourself up over a nacho stain, those things are cursed from the start. Idk, maybe I just expect too much from a spray bottle.

Felt like a total idiot watching the suds disappear" is exactly right, @morganmartinez gets it. I shook that bottle so hard I almost threw my arm out, and the foam still gave up before it even hit the spot. Some stains just laugh at the directions on the bottle.
