Heads up about that '72 hour flash sale' for mattresses on TikTok
I almost bought one of those bed-in-a-box mattresses from a viral ad last week, you know the ones with the countdown timer. Turns out the company runs the same 'sale' every single week, I checked the Wayback Machine and saw the same price listed 3 months ago. The ad said '70% off' but the original price was jacked up to $1,200 when similar mattresses retail for $400. Has anyone else noticed these fake timers on other products?
