I finally caved on a $49 'robot vacuum' from a sketchy ad and it actually maps my apartment

Saw the same ad on instagram like 14 times and it looked like those dropshipping scams with the fake before/after shots. My place is small and carpet free so I figured worst case I lose fifty bucks. After 3 weeks the thing still works and I can watch it do laps from my phone while at work. The mapping took 2 tries and it gets stuck under my couch every other run but for the price I can't complain. Has anyone else got lucky with a no-name gadget that you fully expected to be a dud?
