Serious question about that 'lifetime warranty' on my blender
I picked up a Vitamix clone from a flash sale site back in March for $89, and the motor started smoking just 2 weeks ago when I was making almond butter. The company's customer service ghosted me after I sent them the order number and a video of the smoke. Is this just a case of getting what you pay for, or has anyone actually gotten a replacement out of these sketchy warranty promises?

Lewis nailed it about roulette" - I actually saw a Consumer Reports piece last month saying most of those cheap blender brands change their company name every 6 months just to dodge warranty claims. You're basically out of luck, sorry.

Oh man, that is so frustrating... I had almost the exact same thing happen with a cheap espresso machine I grabbed off one of those flash sale sites. The steam wand sputtered and died after like two months, and the company just stopped replying to my emails completely. It's like they know they can get away with it because the window to do anything about it is so small.

Man that sucks, sorry you're dealing with this. I tried to warranty a cheap air fryer once and got the same runaround, they wanted me to ship it back on my own dime which cost almost as much as the thing. Those flash sale sites are basically playing roulette with customer service, some of them just disappear after a few months.
