That $3 app refund chat changed how I shop for everything now

Was chatting with customer support about a double charge on some subscription, and the rep casually mentioned most people never check their app store receipts. So I went back 3 months and found like $40 in random small charges I forgot about, stuff I bought once and never used. It hit different because I always thought I was careful, but those tiny purchases add up way faster than any big deal I chase. Anyone else ever do a deep dive on their purchase history and get shook?

Wow, I gotta disagree with you there. Those little charges are honestly like pocket change to me, and I'd rather spend 30 seconds buying a game or app I might use once than stress over $1.99 here and there. I did that same deep dive once and found like $25 in junk, but honestly I don't feel ripped off, I feel like I got exactly what I paid for in that moment. If I'm careful about the big stuff like rent and groceries, the small stuff is just fun money. Plus, digging through old receipts just makes me feel bad about stuff I can't change anyway. Maybe I'm the odd one, but I'd rather forget those tiny purchases and focus on the bigger picture.
