The $12 paper towel holder that turned me into a kitchen convert

I've always been skeptical of those subscription boxes for cleaning stuff, figured it was all markup and hype. Then my sister got me a year of this one for Christmas, and the first thing they sent was a paper towel holder that mounts under the cabinet. I rolled my eyes and almost tossed it, but after a month of having it, I actually get why people pay for convenience. It saves me like 10 minutes a day not wrestling the roll while I'm cooking, and the paper towels last longer because they tear clean instead of ripping weird. The kicker is the holder costs about $12 if you buy it alone, but the subscription forced me to try it and I would've never picked it up myself. So now I'm wondering, are there other cheap little tools that only make sense once you actually use them, or is this just a lucky fluke?

Wait, did the holder actually save you time, or did it just make you feel more organized while cooking?

Ha, I wish! It just kept my spoons from rolling into the abyss. My cooking is still a chaotic mess, but at least now it's an organized one.
