Warning: That "free" Amazon return label cost me $11.47
Bought a moisture meter that was clearly used and returned it last Tuesday, but the fine print said free return means deducted from refund. Anyone else get burned by these hidden shipping fees?

Amazon considers that label a convenience, not a service.

Filed a complaint with my credit card company after Amazon pulled that on me. They reversed the shipping fee and flagged it as a misleading charge. Never had the issue again after that.

Oh wow, I actually read somewhere that those "free" labels are just a way for Amazon to avoid paying return shipping themselves... sneaky tactic if you ask me.
