Why does nobody talk about how flash sale countdown timers reset the second you refresh?
I sat on a page for a $60 air fryer during a Labor Day flash sale and watched the timer hit zero, then jump right back to 15 minutes when I hit refresh. I did it 4 times in a row from my kitchen table in Tucson and the clock never once ran out. Folks keep treating those timers like a real deadline and rush into buying junk they never wanted. That fake pressure is the whole trick, and once you see it you can't unsee it. Has anyone else tested a countdown like this, or did I just catch one lazy site?
