Almost bought a $12 'vintage' Levi's jacket on Marketplace, checked one thing first and saved myself $12
Saw a listing last Tuesday for a denim jacket in Riverside for $12, seller said it was a 90s original with no flaws. I almost hit buy, but something felt off so I asked for a pic of the inner tag up close. Turns out the tag said 'Levi Strauss' with a made in Bangladesh stamp, which means it was a modern repro worth like $8 brand new at the outlet. I passed and the seller dropped the price to $5 an hour later, which told me everything. Anyone else got a go-to check before you bite on a cheap 'vintage' listing?
