Guy at a Best Buy counter swore 1GB was 1,024MB and my receipt math said otherwise
I disagree with the crowd that says those "$199 laptop" flash deals are always real, and a clerk named Dave at the Best Buy in Round Rock proved my point when he read the flyer's "1GB" as 1,024MB and told me the price was locked. The sticker said $199 but the register rang up $349, and he just shrugged and said "that's how it scans." Has anyone gotten a manager to actually honor the printed price on one of these, or is it always a runaround?
