Warning: that 90% off electric griddle in my feed had one number that gave it away
Saw an ad last week for a $120 griddle marked down to $12, and the listing said it had been "sold by 4,700 people in the last hour" for a store that opened in March. I looked up the site on the Better Business Bureau page for Columbus, Ohio and the address was a UPS store. The kicker was the countdown timer that reset the second I refreshed the page. Does anyone know if the fake review count of exactly 1,284 is a template these scammers reuse, cause I've seen that number twice now?
