I hit 500 days of tracking my spending and the number surprised me
Honestly, I started tracking every dollar I spent back in 2022 just to see where my cash was going. I hit 500 days last week and added up all the totals. What got me was that I spent $1,200 on coffee over that time, which is way more than I thought. The data from my own life showed I was lying to myself about small habits. Now I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar wake up call from tracking something for a long stretch. What number surprised you the most?

So that coffee habit cost you a nice little vacation, huh?

Read something the other day about how the average person spends like $1,200 a year on coffee. That's nuts when you think about it. One friend of mine quit her daily latte habit and saved enough in six months to go to Cancun. Makes you wonder what else we waste money on without even noticing.

Wow, that coffee total really hits home. It's wild how those little daily purchases add up when you actually put a number on them, right?
