Hot take: that viral video about eggs surviving a 100 foot drop is fake

I saw that video where the guy wraps eggs in bubble wrap and drops them off a parking garage in Nashville. He claims they all survived, but I tried this myself last Saturday with 3 eggs and every single one cracked. My theory is he swapped them out or edited the footage, has anyone else actually replicated this?

I mean, maybe it's just me but 100 feet isn't far enough for terminal velocity to even matter.

...plus I read this physics blog that said the whole "terminal velocity in 100 feet" thing is a myth for small objects like eggs, they actually hit about 50 mph max from that height. But here's the thing, @kai_chen2, I think you might be onto something about the distance not being enough for the egg to stabilize or something. My neighbor's kid tried it with a different drop method - he used a cardboard box with padding - and those eggs shattered too, so the video guy definitely fudged something. I heard someone mention on another forum that the original creator admitted to using "special eggs" that were pre-boiled, but that seems like a cop-out excuse to me.
