So I walked past that famous 'haunted' hot dog stand in Chicago...

I was in Chicago last weekend visiting a friend, and we walked past that viral hot dog stand that everyone claims is haunted because of some grainy video from 2021. You know the one, it had like 10 million views on TikTok showing a shadow moving behind the counter after hours. So I stopped and actually talked to the guy working there, a dude named Mike who's owned the place for 8 years. He told me the whole thing was staged by a local film student who paid him $200 to let them shoot there at 2 AM. I checked the original video again and you can see a boom mic reflection in the window if you pause at the 14 second mark. Has anyone else gone back and looked at the actual footage frame by frame or did everyone just take it at face value?

So wait, did Mike actually show you the signed agreement or was this just a story he told you? Because I've seen a few other vendors in that area claim the same thing but none of them could produce any proof.

You said "none of them could produce any proof" but that's not totally accurate. I actually know one of the other vendors personally, and she did have a photocopy of the agreement terms, just not the signed version with signatures. So there's some proof floating around, it's just not the full signed document people want to see.

Honestly that's kind of a relief to hear there's at least something out there @walker.julia, I'm pretty bad at keeping receipts myself I'd probably lose a signed agreement in my glove compartment for a year.
