Spent 5 days fact checking a 'miracle water filter' claim from a 2 million view TikTok

The video said a $30 filter could remove 99.9% of lead, but the actual lab test report they linked was for a different model with no EPA certification. Took me 4 phone calls to the manufacturer before they admitted the claim only applied to their $200 system.
