I saw this viral ad for a spray that supposedly eats mold on contact, no scrubbing, no bleach smell, and I bit after watching like six reviews. Paid $79 for a 32oz bottle and followed the directions to the letter on my bathroom ceiling corner. It just turned the black stuff into a weird yellowish film that smelled like burnt tires for three days. Then my landlord did his quarterly inspection and said I had to repaint the whole ceiling because the film wouldn't wash off, cost me $140 for paint and my Saturday. I should've just used the $6 bleach spray my dad always swore by, it actually worked on our porch last year.
