That moment I realized I was reading nutrition labels all wrong
I used to just look at calories and fat on the back of packages, thinking that was enough. Last month my sister who's a dietician visiting from Austin pointed out I was ignoring serving sizes on a bag of trail mix - I thought the whole bag was 150 calories but it was actually 3 servings. She showed me how manufacturers sneak in tiny serving sizes to make numbers look better and now I check everything twice. Did anyone else learn this way later than they'd like to admit?

Honestly I used to think reading labels was common sense until I realized how easily we get fooled.

Yeah it's wild how everything has some trick built into it now. Like how stores put the expensive stuff at eye level and the cheaper stuff on the bottom shelf. Same game just different packaging.
