That viral video about microwaving grapes into plasma? Total fake.

I tried it 5 times with different grapes and a glass cup and all I got was burnt fruit and a smoky kitchen. Anyone got a real source that actually backs up that plasma claim?

I mean, the shape of the grape creates a weird antenna effect but that needs a microwave with the magnetron really close to the glass.

Start the microwave and watch two grapes do their best impression of a tiny lightning storm. Pretty sure the FDA would have a field day with this if they ever caught wind of it. Guess that's why we've got those "do not put metal in the microwave" warnings instead of "also avoid certain fruit configurations.
