Tried a $35 white balance card after a friend said my sunset photos all looked orange

I spent 3 years adjusting colors in Lightroom by eye and finally bought one last month, now I can't believe how much time I wasted tweaking sliders, has anyone else found a simple tool that fixed one of their photo editing habits?

So did that card actually fix your white balance or just make you notice different problems?
