My cousin shared a viral post about a local bakery closing, and I found the same photo on 3 different city pages
Last Tuesday my cousin sent me a post saying a 60 year old bakery near Dayton was closing because of a rent hike, and it had like 40k shares. I started digging and the same photo of the storefront showed up on pages for Columbus, Toledo, and a town in Indiana, all posted within a week of each other. Before a couple years ago I would've just shared it and felt sad for a minute, but now the first thing I do is reverse image search and check the page's creation date. This one was made 11 days ago and the "owner" quote doesn't show up anywhere else online. Does anyone have a go-to way to check these local business sob stories before they go wide?
