That 'miracle mushroom coffee' trend is just expensive dirt with caffeine
I keep seeing articles on Facebook about mushroom coffee curing brain fog and boosting energy, and I finally looked into it. Turns out, most of those studies they cite are from small labs funded by the companies selling the stuff (go figure). I did a side-by-side test with my regular $8 Folgers and a $45 bag of that lion's mane blend for 2 weeks. My focus was exactly the same, maybe even worse because the mushroom stuff tasted so bad I couldn't finish my morning cup. Has anyone else called out the lack of real peer-reviewed research behind these claims?

$45 for mushroom coffee that tastes like feet and mushroom soup had a baby. I get being mad about the price and the bad taste, but is this really a big deal in the grand scheme of things? Plenty of people drop way more on dumb supplements and fancy gym memberships they never use. I think we can all agree it's overpriced dirt water, but let's not act like it's a huge conspiracy.

Wait, $45 for a bag? That's like a full week of groceries for some people. I almost choked on my gas station coffee reading that price tag. Not to mention the taste being so bad you couldn't finish it, that's rough. Might as well just sprinkle some dirt in your regular coffee and save forty bucks.
