Compared two TikTok 'fact check' channels for a week, the gap was huge

Last month I watched one channel that claims to debunk viral clips, and another that actually tracks down the original uploads. The first one got 2 million views on a video about a fake octopus, but never showed the source. The second one took 3 days to trace a 'miracle cure' clip back to a 2019 cooking show. Has anyone else noticed how many debunkers just repeat the claim without proof?

Ever tried timing how long the good debunkers actually take? I did a similar test last year on election clips. The lazy channel kept saying "fake" in 20 seconds flat, zero receipts. The good one spent two weeks digging through old streams and found the town hall meeting the clip came from. Now I just check if they show timestamps or reverse image search results. If they can't show their homework, I don't trust the debunk.
