Coworker in Denver said that airport bathroom TikTok was staged, and I only believed her after counting 41 frames
I saw that viral video of a woman finding a hidden camera in an airport bathroom in Denver and it had like 12 million views, so I totally bought it. My coworker watched it with me at lunch and just pointed at the timer on the soap dispenser, which barely moved during the whole "search." She grabbed her phone and scrubbed frame by frame, and from 0:14 to 0:27 the background travelers walking past the door looped twice, same guy in the red jacket. I counted 41 frames total that matched exactly, which means the clip got slowed way down to look more dramatic. The account that posted it had only 3 videos, all with the same crying face thumbnail. Honestly it still bugs me that I shared it with my whole group chat first. Has anyone else got a trick for spotting slowdown edits besides watching the clock in the background?
