That viral $2 cinnamon test for real honey? I tried it on 3 jars and only 1 changed
I bought 3 jars of honey from different stores in Boise and ran the cinnamon swirl test from a TikTok with 4 million likes, and only the cheap $4 jar from the discount bin turned dark. The other two, a $12 raw one and a local farmers market one, barely changed at all, which is basically the opposite of what the video claims. Did anyone else actually try this or was I just wasting a Sunday morning?

Tbh that test is pretty much junk science, since real honey and fake honey both react the same way to cinnamon, so the dark color usually just means your cheap jar had more water in it. The swirl thing doesn't tell you anything about whether honey is real.
