That viral 'earthquake proof' bed frame video missed the real failure point

Saw a TikTok last week claiming a $200 bed frame could survive a 7.0 shake because of some rubber pads, and I tried it on my own platform bed in Sacramento. After 3 nights of testing with a heavy-duty vibe motor strapped to the mattress, the welds held fine but the side rails bent at the bolt holes, which is exactly where the video's demo happened to cut off. Anyone else notice these viral tests always show the top part shaking but never check what happens to the joints underneath?
