That Thursday where every machine in our shop went down by noon

I came in at 7am thinking it'd be a normal day, but by 10 we had a CNC spindle seize, a compressor blow a gasket, and the band saw blade snap all within 2 hours. Has anyone else had a single shift where everything just gave up at once?

That Thursday morning last month, two printers jammed and my truck battery died before 9 AM. Wonder if those clusters happen more often when you're already running on empty, like the universe knows when you're most vulnerable and just piles it on. Do you think it's totally random or is there something about Thursdays particularly that makes everything go sideways?
