The librarian who quoted my own joke back to me 3 months later
I was at the public library in Spokane last week to print something, and the woman at the desk recognized me. Back in February I returned a book with a sticky note inside that said 'page 212 is overrated' as a dumb joke. She remembered it, pulled up a notepad, and read my exact note back to me. I didn't even know her name, but she kept it for months just because it made her laugh. Has anyone else had a stranger remember something tiny they said or did way longer than expected? What do you think that says about how we affect people without noticing?

Wow, that's wild... she basically turned your throwaway joke into a little piece of her day. Kind of makes you wonder what else we leave behind without knowing, right?
