Foam roof coating or tile, went with foam and paid for it

Last June in Tucson I had to decide between spray foam roofing and traditional tile for my 1,400 square foot place. The foam quote came in at 6 grand, tile was closer to 11, so I went cheap. Three weeks later a dust storm peeled a corner strip off and now I am patching a 30 foot seam with extra coat. Has anyone else tried foam in high wind areas and actually had it hold up?
