Radiant barrier paint actually cut my AC bill by $38 in June, fight me
Everyone said the ceramic paint was snake oil in this group, so I tried it on my stucco south wall in Tucson and compared the power bills, has anyone else seen real savings or did I get lucky with cloud cover this month?

Man I did something like this a few years back with that reflective foil stuff on my west facing garage wall and my bill dropped about 25 bucks that first month. Then July hit and it went right back up so I figured the foil wasn't doing squat and it was just a mild June. What I learned later is that the foil had a bunch of dust and cobwebs on it by year two and that killed most of the benefit, so now I hose it off every spring before the heat comes. Your $38 is probably real if you keep that stucco clean and it gets full sun all day.
