Best week I ever had was 2017 pulling a blown 6.7 out of a beat up F-450

Buddy's truck dropped a valve on I-35 Tuesday morning, had it torn down by Thursday night. Friday we pulled the whole thing in under 6 hours with just a cherry picker and a come-along. Has anyone else had a job where everything just clicked like that?

Put the cherry picker on the back of my trailer and used it to lift the cab right off the frame. Had the whole thing separated in about 20 minutes. Engine came out clean with a little pry bar work on the motor mounts. The trick was labeling every harness connector with masking tape and a sharpie before pulling anything apart. Took longer to do that than to actually yank the motor.

Labeling everything with masking tape saves so much headache later, been doing that for years.

Honestly, who actually skips that step?
