Finally replaced the injectors on my 7.3 after putting it off for 2 years

Was blowing white smoke bad on cold starts for the last 6 months, drove me crazy. Took a whole Saturday last week in my buddy's shop in Tulsa to swap all 8 injectors out, and now it fires up like a dream. Anyone else drag their feet on jobs like this just because they're dreading the labor?

Man, what was the final straw that made you actually do it? Was it the white smoke getting worse or did something else break? I'm just curious because I've got a buddy with a 7.3 that's been blowing a little haze for months and he keeps saying he'll get to it.

You mean besides the fact that I kept telling myself "next weekend" for like eight months? The white smoke was bad enough that my neighbors started asking if I was trying to fog for mosquitoes.

Dread it all you want but that truck will thank you for not ignoring it another winter. I say just buckle down and get it done instead of stressing for two years.
