Heads up on the diesel quality at the River Road station

It's been causing rapid filter failure in my area.

Yikes, my cousin's rig had the same filter issue after a fill-up last month.

Actually, that's interesting because my experience has been different. I've used diesel from that River Road spot a few times without any problems. Sometimes filter issues can come from other things, like old fuel in the tank or not changing the filter on time. My buddy runs a fleet and says he's never had trouble with their fuel. It might be worth checking if there was water in the tank from before the fill-up. I just don't think it's fair to blame the station right away.

Dealt with the same junk diesel from that River Road spot back in the spring. It completely gunked up the filter on my old work truck within a week. Cost me a tow and a full afternoon of cleaning out the system. I won't let that watered down fuel near any of my vehicles again.

That's rough about the tow, but wadesullivan might be onto something. Bad fuel can happen anywhere, but so can old tanks or dirty filters. My uncle's farm truck had a similar scare and it turned out to be algae in his own storage tank, not the station. Just seems like there could be a few things going on here.
