That week I uploaded a piece every day for 7 days straight
Last month I decided to try a crazy challenge: post one finished digital piece to my gallery every single day for a week. Day 1 was a landscape study that took me 4 hours. By day 4 I was doing 30-minute sketches just to keep up, lol. The weirdest part was that my worst piece from Tuesday got 3 times the likes of my best one from Friday. I think people just respond to quantity over quality sometimes. Has anyone else done a daily upload streak and noticed their engagement patterns change?

Huh, that's actually a good point. I used to think you had to post only your best stuff or it wasn't worth sharing, but seeing how people respond to the daily routine kinda changed my mind. Consistency really does build a connection even if the individual pieces aren't all winners.

Dude I had a buddy who did that same thing for a month straight. He drew a tiny robot character every single day and by week two his Instagram was getting double the likes but the comments were like "why is his arm weird today?" People are weird man. The robot that took him 10 seconds got more attention than the one he spent an hour on with a full background.

Maybe it's just the consistency that makes people tune in, not the quality. @miles_robinson20 saw his buddy's audience get hooked on the daily habit, which is probably worth more than any single polished piece.
