Trick that saved my digital art workflow: batch resizing with actions

I was drowning in file sizes last month. Each layer was massive, took forever to export. Tried manual resizing for like 3 days straight. Then I figured out Photoshop actions let me batch resize and export in one click. Set it up in 10 minutes. Cut my export time from 2 hours to 15 minutes. Anyone else got a simple automation trick they sleep on?
