Finally deleted 3,000 photos off my phone last night

I had stuff going back to 2019 from a trip to Myrtle Beach that I never even looked at again. It took me like 4 hours but now my iCloud says 15GB free instead of 2. Has anyone else felt weirdly sad about trashing old screenshots?

Made a folder called "old junk" and just dump everything there now, gives me time to second-guess before I actually delete. That 15GB feels good though, worth the purge.

Worth the purge" might be a stretch. That 15 gigs is probably just photos and downloads you never look at. Real junk is the stuff like duplicate files and cache that eats space. Might wanna check your temp files too.
