I finally nuked my bookmarks folder after 8 years

Had 4,732 bookmarks saved since 2016 - never looked at 90% of them. Wasted $15 on a bookmark management app that just made things worse, ended up deleting everything manually. Anyone else holding onto old links they know they'll never open?

Whoa, 4,732 bookmarks?! That's honestly kind of impressive in a scary way. I thought my 200 was bad but you were literally hoarding web pages for almost a decade. Props for finally hitting the delete button though, I bet it felt like a huge weight lifted off your shoulders.

Doubt it's that deep @mileslane. Just a bunch of old links nobody needs. Feels more like cleaning out a dusty closet than some big emotional purge.

Taylor's got a point. 4000 bookmarks is a lot but cleaning them out is just housekeeping. People act like deleting old links is some huge personal breakthrough but it's really just basic digital hygiene.
