I laughed at the 'digital nomad visa' thing for years, but Portugal's D7 actually worked in 3 months flat.

Had to show $800 a month income and get a local address, which was easier than I expected. Anyone else actually gone through one of these processes?

Got my D7 approved in 90 days too. The bank statement showing passive income was the main thing they checked. Portugal's system is surprisingly straightforward once you have the paperwork.

My buddy did the same thing in Croatia, worked out great for him.

Yeah it's nice when it goes smooth like that. I mean the paperwork can be a nightmare sometimes.
